AN R-TREE COLLISION DETECTION ALGORITHM FOR POLYGONAL MODELS

摘要

This paper presents a novel collision detection algorithmrnfor polygonal models. It describes the implementation ofrnan R-tree traversal algorithm using the Overlapping Axis-rnAligned Bounding Box (OAABB) to improvernperformance. Experimental results show an order ofrnmagnitude improvement compared with previousrnimplementation.
