Study on Professional Ability Improvement for Non-professional Librarians in University Library

摘要

Non-professional librarians occupy a large proportion in university library staff. Their professional ability directly affects the library service and development. It is worthy of our exploration and contemplation how to improve the professional ability of non-professional librarians. Through investigation and analysis, some suggestions were proposed in the paper. Posts should be allocated reasonably. The confidence of non-professional librarians should be enhanced. Effective training, coaching guiding mechanism, and humanistic management should be established.
