摘要

Experience of using non-metallic reinforcement based on glass fibre in bridge constructions made of wood (1975), metal (1981) and reinforced concrete (1989) has been discussed. Shown are the principal properties of glass fibre reinforcing rods 6 mm in diameter which were used in the constructions of a reinforced concrete bridge. The effects of spacing of a braiding thread forming the rod deformed section on non-metallic reinforcement properties were considered.
