Consider a continuously running wireless network where packets arrive at nodes in the network according to some stochastic process. These packets need to be be sent over the wireless channel to their intended receivers at a, rate fast enough to ensure that the packet, queues at nodes do not blow up. This question of ensuring the stability of a wireless network is a classical problem in network information theory. Our goal is to design fast, distributed algorithms that achieve this goal under significant load in the SINR model of interference.
