DLS, the Pivot of the School Library Promotion in Korea

Providing diverse resources and on-line space for reading activities, Korea's Digital Library System (DLS) is not merely a school library office support system, but a full digital library for primary and secondary schools. DLS is an integrated system virtually built in the servers of the Metropolitan & Provincial Office of Education (MPOE). DLS is the foundation of teaching-learning activities of the school libraries in South Korea, and is a fruit of the School Library Informatization Comprehensive Plan and the School Library Promotion Comprehensive Plan, long-term education plans by the Korean government.
