An Asynchronous Information Exchange and Workflow Management Systems Based on XML Embedded Email for Tax Declaring

Asynchronous information exchange with email is inexpensive, easily and quickly to set up in the case of workflow treatment in the tax declaring and suitable for huge users to declare tax in the short time. This paper proposed an asynchronous information exchange and workflow management systems based on XML embedded email for tax declaring. The XML data sheet is used to exchange the tax declaring data by email between the taxpayer and the special tax management information system in the revenue department. The workflow of the system is consisted of the client and the server side. In the client side, the tax declaring data is inputted into the XML data sheet with XML editors and delivered to the mail server in the revenue department by STMP protocol. In the server side, the XML based tax declaring data sheet is received from the mail server by POP3 protocol and transformed to the data items that can be recognized by the tax management information system. The system could offer a new tax declaring service for the revenue department with security, reliability, high speed, and suitable for large-scale taxpayers to declares taxes asynchronously with low cost, extensive information treatment and data exchange. The proposed system could be widely applied in the tax declaring to the revenue department for public taxpayers.
