摘要

Combination of clinical data with proteomic data can help biologists understand the relationships between a disease and protein expressions. This emerging need has been dramatically increasing in recent years. We are facing the same challenge, and have begun developing an laboratory information management system (LIMS) to systematically integrate, archive, manipulate and present both the data from proteomic experiments and those from clinical practice. The LIMS can facilitate researchers to manage the data from different experiment stages, and to explore other proteomics databases for further investigation of disease relationships with proteins.
