摘要

Wheat germ agglutinin functionalized CdSe-ZnS quantum dots (WGA-QDs) were utilized asrnthe fluorescent label for the bacterial detection. The labeled bacteria cells were enriched andrnseparated with SiMAG-PEI, a type of non-porous silica-encapsulated Fe_3O_4 magneticrnparticles with anion-exchange group. The study indicated that the bacterial cells interactrnstrongly with WGA-QDs and SiMAG-PEI and the fluorescence intensity increases withrnincreasing bacterial concentration within the range of 10~2-10~7 cfu/ml. This method can bernused to detect total bacterial concentration in about 1.5 hour.
