The WWW(World Wide Web) has become a very important part of the Internet since it appeared in the early of 1990's. The WWW technology has led the Internet to be popular around the world. As a result, so many people use the WWW day after day and want more variable and more stable services. These demands make the service providers need the web server with high performance and the stability. The web server cluster system appeared on the background. The web server cluster system has merits such as the scalability, the availability, and cost-effectiveness compared with a single server system having the same scale. The centralized web server cluster, however, has a bottleneck point at the dispatcher resulting in the restrictive scalability. Especially, L4/3 has much load at the dispatcher, so that the system is less scalable, although it has many merits. In this paper, we present the L4/3 web server cluster with multiple dispatchers to overcome the restriction. It is meaningful to achieve the scalability of the web server cluster system with L4/.3 rather than improve absolute value for performance of the system.
