A methodology, based on sub-spaces, is proposed to build a multi-agents system (MAS) aimed at creating manufacturing process plans. The methodology serves to define the necessary set of agents of the intelligent cooperative system, the ontology and the tasks the agents must perform. The agents' tasks are modeled with the IDEF0 language. It contains, as the ICOM's, the entities defined in the ontology. The tasks are then implemented in the Zeus platform to build the MAS. Complete correspondence among the sub-spaces, the information model and the implementation is obtained.
