This paper deals with an alternative computation method of the process of the heating of thin tubes which can be described by relatively simple mathematical models. The process of the heating is - if medium and high frequency is used - always slower in comparison with the period of electrical current. So, the time-stepping method seems to be inefficient and for higher frequencies the calculations need a lot of time. The authors bring an alternative approach using the principle of the Fourier Coefficients Evolution Method (FCEM) to eliminate the above-mentioned disadvantage assuming the equivalent circuit quantities in the form of Fourier series with the time-dependent coefficients of relevant harmonic frequencies. The case study demonstrates the applicability of our method and shows that it can make easy technical design of heating systems.
