Using failure detection and diagnosis methods to detect dangerous evolutions of the driver behaviour

摘要

This paper deals with the application of techniques coming from Reliability Centered maintenance to detect time evolutions of a car driver behaviour in monotonous motorway driving situations. It describes the problematic raised by the study of systems where the Human operator has a continuous role in the control loop and proposes an approach to choose and study variables allowing to characterise different system working states.
