Reliability Analysis of DOOF for Exponential Distribution

Hierarchical Bayesian method for estimating the failure probability p_i under DOOF (Data Only One Failure) by taking the quasi-Beta distribution B(p_(i-1),1,a,b) as the prior distribution is proposed in this paper. The weighted Least Squares Estimate method was used to obtain the formula for computing reliability distribution parameters under DOOF. Taking one type of electrical connectors as an example, the estimator of reliability characteristic values was acquired using the above method. Finally the feasibility of the above mentioned method was verified by Monte-Carlo simulation method.
