This study was to evaluate the cytotoxic activity of lipophilic extracts of Thai herbs (Harrisonia perforata, Pongamia Pinnata, Azadirachta indica) against from Human Breast Cancer (MCF-7) cells, Human Epidermoid Carcinoma (KB-31) cells and from Monkey kidney (Vero) cells were tested by MTT assay against Vero, KB-31 and MCF-7 cells line. Apoptotic induction was tested in the MCF-7 and used Vero cells as control was analyzed by electrophoresis. All extracts did not induce cytotoxicity against Vero cells. A. indica leaves showed the highest cytotoxicity effect against MCF-7 cells (IC50 = 296.49 μg/ml) and KB-31 cells (IC50 199.49 μg/ml), whereas H.perforata stem bark showed the highest cytotoxicity effect against KB-31 cells (IC50= 191.06μ/ml). Leaves of H.perforata and P.pinnata had not produced cytotoxicity against three cell lines.
