摘要

An idea and some details of the two-step method for vibration damping analysis of viscoelastic fully clamped rectangular sandwich plate are given in the paper. Direct application of the Mindlin plate theory for the purpose above mentioned was proposed. An influence of some parameters of the plate core as well as the shear coefficient of the Mindlin theory on accuracy of the approach is also examined.
