SOFTPLCS AND THEIR USING IN CONTROL APPLICATIONS

摘要

This paper will bring up main information about PC-based control systems. The first part brings up general information about PC-based control systems and introduces products of the Siemens company. The second part of the paper reviews author's experiences with using SoftPLCs in different types of control problems and it presents the results of testing some SoftPLCs characteristics. The last part of the paper refers to communication capabilities of SoftPLCs and the possibilities of their connections to SCADA/HMI systems.
