Rapid determination of chromium (III) and chromium (VI) in chrome tanning liquor and waste chrome tanning liquor by a flow-injection system

A spectrophotometric flow- injection method with only one path is proposed for the rapid determination of chromium (III) and chromium (VI) in chrome tanning liquor and waste chrome tanning liquor. Diphenylcarbazide solution is chosen as both color reagent and carrier stream. Compared with the conventional volumetric analysis for chromium, the method has advantages such as simple operation, rapid analysis, saving reagents and so on.
