Analysis of Sustainable Design Strategies and Methods in Shijiazhuang Science and Technology Theme Park

摘要

The development of the city always accompanies with the demolition and the reconstruction. This process leaves many problems such as the environmental quality, the demolition waste disposal, etc. This article explores a serial of strategies and methods on how to effectively consume the demolition waste and turn them into benefit. In addition, by fully using green technologies which can enhance the sustainability of landscape, it can meet the goal of the environmental development. By taking the scheme for the Shijiazhuang Science and Technology Theme Park as an example, this article examines a number of techniques including the employment of the construction debris, the green energy and rainwater harvesting. These techniques build the park unique and sustainable.
