摘要

Because of the limitation of image processing algorithms based on rectangular coordinate system, new image-processing algorithms using polar coordinate system is studied for detection of rice appearance quality. The regional processing algorithms using polar coordinate system are put forward firstly such as the detection algorithm of long-short axes, the image processing algorithm of non-uniformity sampling and the processing algorithm of the given region. All these algorithms are of fast detection speed and rotation invariance.
