摘要

The grassland biome is one of the most important parts of terrestrial ecosystem and plays an important role in global environment change. Grassland type is a generalization of grassland resources. It is theoretic basis to further develop grasslands rationally. According to the quantificational biology-climate indices such as annual accumulate temperature >0 and wetness index, the ℃ comprehensive and sequential classification of grassland regards grasslands which have the same heat level and moisture index as one class. Biology-climate condition, the most essential character for grass and livestock adaptability, is better reflected by the classification. But weather stations is limited and their spatial distribution is not even due to social economy and manpower etc. So they are main factors that limit the classification’s application. Spatial interpolation is to estimate unobserved spatial data on the basis of observed spatial data and is an effective method to solve data deficiency. The application of spatial interpolation will provide wide prospect for the comprehensive and sequential classification of Grassland.
