Laminates of three candidate materials, IM7/5260, IM7/8320, and IM7/K3B, for the High Speed Civil Transport were subjected to isothermal aging. Residual tension properties were obtained for laminates with pre-and post-aging drilled holes and machined edges. In the IM7/5260 laminates matrix cracks occurred for the more severe aging condition and these matrix cracks lowered the stress to cause edge delamination but did not effect the open hole tension properties or the unnotched tension rupture stress. In the IM7/8320 laminates, an improvement was observed in the edge delamination stress for the more severe aging condition.
