A novel silver 1-Phenyl-5-mercaptotetrazole/Silver Stearate (AgPMT/AgSt) was synthesized by using silver stearate (AgSt) as substrate and 1-Phenyl-5-mercaptotetrazole (PMT) as surface modifier. The microstructure, morphology, crystal form and thermal behavior of AgPMT/AgSt were respectively measured by FTIR, SEM, XRD and TG DSC. The results showed that AgPMT/AgSt was composed of substrate AgSt with surface supported AgPMT particles. Compared to AgSt, new thermal transition peak appeared near 85℃ as well as low thermal decomposition temperature was achieved for AgPMT/AgSt, which was beneficial to the thermal transport behavior of silver source.
