Aperture technology, which influences the combiningrnefficiency, is the key factor for Coherent-Beam-rnCombining (CBC). By using beam combiner with highrnperformances, coherent combining of fiber lasers canrnprovide the chance to increase the output intensityrnmore efficiently. This paper presents a method tornmanufacture the beam combiner for CBC by using arnthin-film coated glass plate. This method can increasernthe effective filling factor of aperture, and thereforerneliminate far-field side-lobes by enlarging the numberrnof sub-apertures and decreasing the distance betweenrnthe sub-apertures for an output aperture with a constantrnsize. The fabrication of this thin-film coated glass costsrnless and the coated glass has better stability than otherrnbeam combiners. In order to earn high efficiency forrnCBC, we also exploit physical and geometrical opticsrnto build the model. Theoretically, this method can raisernthe coherent combining efficiency almost to 100%.rnAdditionally, based on this method, a new conceptionrnof Multiple-beam Interference of Multi-beams isrnoffered.
