@@INTRODUCTION Sol-gel methods provided a vey attractive and convenient technique for the immobilization of biomolecules [1-2]. The porous inorganic sol-gel matrix is particulary useful for the fabrication of biosensors because the matrix possesses physical rigidity. Nano particles of titanium dioxide (TiO2) have become an interesting research area due to their unique physical, chemical and electro-optical properties. TiO2 nanofilms have wide range of applications in many fields, including protective antireflection coatings, lithium batteries and sensors, air and water purification, catalyst supports such as sonocatalyst, photocatalyst, electrocatalyst [3-5].
