VUT 001 MARABU:　UNIVERSAL EXPERIMENTAL AIRCRAFT

The project VUT 001 MARABU representsrnnew approach to development in several fields,rnand combines them together to create effectiverndevelopment and testing tool. For example, onrnthe field of civil unmanned aerial vehicles, itrnprovides piloted aircraft platform to overcomernlegislative and development problems at earlyrndesign stages. The aircraft was built to supportrndevelopment of equipment for UnmannedrnAerial Systems (UAS) and especially for aerialrnvehicles themselves (UAVs-Unmanned AerialrnVehicles).rnThe project emphasizes civil applications thatrnstill fall behind military UAS/UAV applications.rnThis "delay" is mainly caused by legislativernlimitations for operations of unmanned aircraftrnin the civil airspace. The solution adopted forrnVUT 001 Marabu project solves this issuernthrough design of a piloted experimentalrnaircraft. Since it is not primarily focused on therndevelopment of ground element, the acronymrnUAV is used in the paper.rnThe paper provides extension of the informationrngiven previously for example in [8] and [9].
