摘要

The increase in the ballistic efficiency of protective structures using of the add- on armors has been studied. The main armor has been made from the ARMOX 500 steel. The add - on armors have been considered as ceramic plates made from: SiC, B_4C, TiB_2 ,AlN, Al_2O_3, Si_3N_4 and as plates made from dual hardness steel. LS DYNA 3D finite element code has been used.. The validity of the used material model has been checked using of some ballistic experiments.
