In an important seminar or conference room it is needed to maintain silence. There is an easy way to reduce outside high and medium frequency noise using passive noise reduction technique. But inside high frequency as well as low frequency noises produced from fan, air conditioning system, cough, whispering etc. can be very annoying while a seminar or conference is going on. In this paper a very useful model is designed to make a seminar room silent using Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) method. We have reviewed Filtered x-Least Mean Square (FxLMS) algorithm for developing ANC system. Here a seminar room is considered and accordingly six microphones and three sub-woofers are used for simulation purpose to reduce noise up to -50 db.
