摘要

As long as batteries on long run requires frequent maintenance and replacement, long lasting power supplies using wireless mode have become a must in several applications. The cost and labour required along with battery replacement not only makes it costlier but also less effective. For applications where battery size is too large, size of sensor is very crucial as nodes not bigger than a dime is required. Energy harvesting concept gives usable energy available in the surroundings like radio frequency, vibrations, electromagnetism, temperature gradient, etc,. Hence in this project, wind based energy harvesters are used to generate power for wireless sensor networks that works in low wind conditions.
