Nanocone array based solar cells shows light trapping property that reduces the reflections and increase the antireflection property. In this paper, we proposed the effect of different tilt angles on reflectance and transmittance of Silicon nanostructure array obtained from simulation of nanocone based solar cells. Reflectance and transmittance has been observed in the visible spectrum for wavelength 0.5μm through simulation software OptiFDTD. It is necessary to take into account factors like position, location and sky path while positioning or installing a solar panel. The result are obtained for varying tilt angles 0°, 15°, 30°, 45° and 60° The silicon nanostructures has a square geometry which has a height of 1μm and diameter of 0.5μm. The refractive index of Si nanocones is taken as 3.85.
