摘要

In order to solve the problem of low precision of template extraction using template matching, this paper proposes a method of gray scale difference and polarity based on template matching. Firstly, the shape of the template matching algorithm is used to match the captured image, and the approximate location of the target contour is obtained. Then, the target contour is re fitted by means of gray scale difference and polarity change to extract the contour of the target accurately. The HALCON simulation comparison shows that the proposed algorithm is superior to the template matching, it provides a powerful basis for the contour extraction algorithm. In addition, the algorithm can be applied to the fast and accurate extraction of contour lines for any object.
