摘要

In this paper, high step voltage was used to drive the electrospray system. Three kinds of rise times (15 ns, 2.2 μs, and 500 μs) were compared liquid dynamics. Although the differences between 15 ns and 2.2 μs rise times were much shorter than spray initiation, clear difference was observed in the initiation time. It indicates that fast charging up of the liquid surface affects initiation process of electrospray. Furthermore, thinner nozzle seems to be greatly affected due to calculation result.
