摘要

It is challenging to control boiler-turbine system in thermal power plant because of its large-scale nonlinearity, multi-variable couplings and physical constraints. This paper aims to design an optimal controller for a second-order boiler-turbine unit via a real-time GaleRkin optimal control strategy so as to achieve appropriate tracking performance. It will show that the proposed real-time Galerkin optimal control strategy can efficiently track the change of load in large-scale load range while maintaining physical constraints on both control inputs and outputs. Some simulations are conducted to validate our conclusions.
