摘要

This study is an empirical study of elementary school Chinese character writing teaching used automatic evaluation software of Chinese characters (AESCC). There are three stages to collect Chinese character writing data through quasi-experimental study. The results of the research are as follows: Using AESCC in Chinese Character training in elementary Chinese program proved to be more effective than the traditional approach, Using AESCC for high writing level students proved to more effective than the traditional approach. However, there is no statistically significant effect for low writing level students with two different Chinese character instruction approaches, Finally, several suggestions for the future teaching are provided in the paper.
