Microchips, being the gigantic innovation are also famously known as Biochips. In molecular biology, from performing hundreds to thousands of biochemical reaction, biochips are essentially miniaturized laboratories. These are the most appropriate application of healthcare industry. Biochips are any microchips that can be used in biology. That means from quickly screening large numbers of biological analytes, biochips enable researchers to diagnose various diseases, detect bioterrorism agents etc. A great outcome of fields of Electronics, Biology and Computer Science, Biochips acts as a new type of security device, it can easily as well as accurately track the information about what a person is doing and who is actually doing it. Therefore, the main idea behind this, is one chip, with multiple uses. Hence this research paper consists of the basics of Biochips, its requirements, Biochip technology, its applications, its models, advantages and disadvantages and many more.
