摘要

To solve the problems of uncertain switching frequency and control hysteresis in traditional direct power control of three-phase voltage type PWM rectifier, this paper presents a new method to control three phase PWM rectifiers. The method is a kind of Direct Power Control (DPC) which is based on Model Predictive Control (MPC). This method uses voltage vector of the supply network as the base vector of control process and does not apply any kind of hysteresis or PI controller in the control loops of active and reactive powers. According to requirements of control system, the performance index of the model predictive controller is designed to get optimal control volume and carry out system control. The method is simple. It can effectively reduce ripple of the DC bus voltage and total harmonic distortion of the AC side current. Effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method are validated by the simulation results.
