In this paper, we deal with the growth of solutions of higher order linear differential equations $$ f^{(k)}+A_{k-1}f^{(k-1)}+cdots+A_0f=F,$$ where $A_j(z)(j = 0, 1, ldots, k - 1)$ and $F$ are meromorphic functions. Some results are obtained which improve previous results given by J.F. Xu, B. Bela"{i}di, etc.
