Experience from thernautomotive industry with "slush" molding ofrncryogenically ground polymeric materials forrninstrument panel skins offers a potentialrnopportunity to expand rotomolding capabilitiesrnand applications.rn"Slush" molding is very similar tornrotomolding and has many of the same materialrnrequirements for particle size distribution andrnparticle shape.rnCryogenic grinding offers particle sizerndistribution and particle shape enabling thesernnew materials to process without bubbles orrnporosity.rnThe new materials for consideration include,rnThermoplastic Urethane(TPU), ThermoplasticrnRubber(TPR), TPU/PVC Alloys, and TPR/PVCrnAlloys.
