摘要

Vanadium (V), a trace element has recently been found to possess potent and antineoplastic activity in rat hepatocarcinogenesis. Recent studies have suggested that the active component betacarotene (bc) in vivo and in cell cultures have demonstrated a protective effect against malignant transformation. In the present study, attempts have been made to investigate the combined chemopreventive effect on the fine structural changes in the rat hepatocyte obtained during dietylnitrosamine induced rat liver carcinogenesis.
