In the present work the extraction of rare and dispersed metals (Ln, Y, Sc, Zr, Hf) by neutral and add organophosphorus extractants was studied in the presence of different types of added surfactants. It wax established that the addition of SAS allowed increasing considerably the distribution coefficients of metals when the definite molar ratio between the concentration of the added surfactant and the extractant was kept. When surfactant was added to the extraction system, the metal loading of the extractant increased significantly in the comparison with the stoichiometry of the common reaction.
