Building an ontology for chinese historical resources

Digital libraries sotre and handle a wider variety of digital objects-electronic journals, scientific datasets, multimedia collections, only to name a few. These digital objects are not simply collections of bits, but rather, they contain content structures and information about objects such as descriptive data and intellectual rights. Information about a digital object is often called metadata, such as title, author, publisher, description, format, document type, subject, classification number, and so forth.
