The Case of Digital Inclusion for Mosque Library Administrators

A study conducted on mosque library administrators to determine their level of competency in handling information and ICT revealed some interesting patterns. The mosque library administrators have a high level of competency only in three areas of ICT, namely in word processing, electronic mail and Internet usage. In the case of information literacy, they are highly capable of locating and reviewing relevant information as well as determining what information are needed to address a research question. However, their understandings of ethical, legal and socio-political issue are limited.
