Infrastructure development is the most basic element for economic element for economic growth and development of any country. However, serious damages are often caused to the natural environment and resources due to excessive and indiscriminate construction which lead to deterioration of the environmental quality, destruction of lifecycles and thus quality of human life. A proper balance between physical development and environmental impact must be the prime objective of any development act.
