摘要

Submicron size with spherical shaped red-emitting YBO_3:Eu~(3+) phosphor was fabricated by using a solvothermal method. The resultant powder phosphors were analyzed in terms of shape and decay property comparing with the commercial red phosphor. Solvothermally grown YBO_3:Eu~(3+) phosphor with fast-decaying property can be considered as very promising luminescent materials for new emissive 3D displays such as 3D PDPs.
