Convergence of Noor Iteration Method for Pseudocontractive Mappings

摘要

The purpose of this article is to prove some strong convergence theorems of Noor iteration forpseudocontractive mappings in Hilbert spaces. The results obtained in this paper extend the recent results ofH.Zegeye, N.Shahzad, M.A.Alghamdi [Convergence of Ishikawa's iteration method for pseudocontractivemappings, Nonlinear Ana1.74(2011)7304-7311]. Inspired by H.Zegeye, the purpose of this article is toconsider a strong convergence of Noor iteration methodfor pseudocontractive mapping in a Hilbert space whichextend the result of H.Zegeye.
