Effect of Vitamin and microelements complex on DNA strand breaks in human being

摘要

In order to observe the different DNA damage condition of population in different part of China and to observe whether the replenishment of Vitamins and microelements could influence the DNA damage of populations 150 persons were selected in Beijing. DNA strand break of peripheral blood lymphocyte was examined before and after the Vitamins and microelements replenishment. The results showed that after Vitamins and microelements replenishment TL (tail length) was 9.11 祄 in placebo group and 5.15 祄 in CDX (Vitamins and microelements complex ) administrative group. PDTW ( the percentage of DNA content of tail among the whole cell) was 7.24% in placebo group and 3.90% in CDX administrative group. RTH ( the ratio of tail length and head length ) was 0.24 in placebo group and 0.14 in CDX administrative group. FDC (the frequency of damaged cell) was 11.92 % in placebo group and 6.37% of CDX administrative group. It is concluded that for person who lived in Beijing Vitamin and microelements replenishment would be benefit to reduce their DNA damage status.
