In this paper, the wave propagation and localization in two-dimensional piezoelectric phononic crystals which includes piont defect and linear defects has been studied by using finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. The mechanical-electrical coupling has been took into account. Numerical results of point defect modes and transmission coefficients are presented for BaTiO3/polymer piezocomposite. It has proved clearly that the number of defects have pronounced effects on the defect modes and transmission coefficients. We also studied the linear defects, it has been proved by the result that the guided modes can act as a waveguide for acoustic waves in this piezocomposite。
