A method for predicting a photosynthesis gas exchange parameter by using a lettuce chlorophyll fluorescence parameter, which belongs to the field of plant physiological research. The chlorophyll fluorescence parameter and the photosynthesis gas exchange parameter are both independent index systems for representing the photosynthesis capacity of plants. The maximum apparent photosynthesis electron transfer rate and a light saturation point thereof in a lettuce chlorophyll fluorescence parameter, and the maximum net photosynthesis rate and a light saturation point thereof in a photosynthesis gas exchange parameter are respectively measured and calculated within the same period; the chlorophyll fluorescence parameter is taken as an independent variable X, and the photosynthesis gas exchange parameter is taken as a dependent variable Y; and according to an equation of Y = aXb, a fitting equation of the maximum apparent photosynthesis electron transfer rate and the maximum net photosynthesis rate and a fitting equation of the light saturation point at the maximum apparent photosynthesis electron transfer rate and the light saturation point at the maximum net photosynthesis rate are respectively constructed, and respective regression coefficients a and b are acquired, such that an equation for predicting some parameters of photosynthesis gas exchange on the basis of some parameters of chlorophyll fluorescence is obtained, and the internal unification between two index systems is revealed.
