Disclosed are a ground information acquisition system using a laser, a ground information acquisition method using same, and a mobile platform driving method based on ground information, the ground information acquisition system comprising a measurement unit, a ground information acquisition unit, a relative angle calculation unit, a tilting angle calculation unit, and a distance calculation unit. The measurement unit comprises a pair of lasers for irradiating laser beams towards the ground, and a camera for capturing an image of the irradiated laser beams. The ground information acquisition unit acquires information about the ground, on the basis of a line extracted from the captured image. The relative angle calculation unit calculates, from the acquired ground information, a relative angle that is a direction in which the measurement unit is positioned with respect to the ground. The tilting angle calculation unit calculates, from the acquired ground information, a tilting angle at which the camera is tilted in a direction facing the ground. The distance calculation unit calculates a distance to a measurement body located on the ground, on the basis of the relative angle and the tilting angle.
