PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abdominal breathing assisting device capable of assisting abdominal breathing from the back of a body in a comfortable posture on the back using a simple device. SOLUTION: The abdominal breathing aid comprises a back support pad 1 arranged at intervals and a seat member 2 for holding the back support pad 1 in a detachable manner. The pad 1 is composed of, for example, a core material and a packaging material covering the core material. It is equipped with a hook-and-loop fastener provided on the lower surface, and is fixed on the seat member 2 so that the lower part of the back pad 1 is pressed from the back side from the vicinity of both sides of the epigastrium of the person who uses the back support pad 1, and then lies on its back.
