An object of the present invention is to supply air and metal oxide particles to the inside of the incubation chamber in which the lung/bronchial cell culture device is disposed, and control factors that can affect the aerosol generation through the aerosol generating device, without using actual experimental animals. As a screening method that identifies changes in the state of lung/bronchial cultured cells, in vitro inhalation toxicity testing for metal oxide particles can be performed simply and conveniently, and thus can replace general nanoparticle inhalation toxicity testing devices. It is to provide an in vitro metal oxide inhalation toxicity screening test apparatus capable of improving the accuracy of inhalation toxicity testing without using experimental animals by disposing the cell culture apparatus according to the flow direction of the particles. In order to achieve the above object, an apparatus for testing metal oxide inhalation toxicity in vitro according to the present invention includes: a chamber having an accommodation space formed therein; an operation unit for introducing nanoparticles together with air into the chamber interior space in a manner that alternately repeats an operation of introducing and discharging air into and out of the chamber interior space; and a cell incubator mounted in plurality in the chamber interior space, to which lung/bronchial cells of humans or animals are attached, and arranged to be positioned along the inflow flow direction of nanoparticles in the chamber interior space.
